  2. Exit at Nambour Connection Road: Follow signs to Mapleton via the Nambour Connection Road.
  3. Turn onto Mapleton Road: Continue on Mapleton Road through the town of Mapleton.
  4. Turn Right onto Delicia Road: Just after Mapleton Falls Road, turn right onto Delicia Road.
  5. Continue to Mapleton Forest Road: Follow Delicia Road until it becomes Mapleton Forest Road, a dirt road accessible by 2WD vehicles.
  6. Arrive at Mapleton Day Use Area: Follow the signs to the day-use area, located near the Leafy Lane Trail Head.

From the Sunshine Coast:

  1. Head West: Take the Sunshine Motorway (Route 70) west towards Nambour.
  2. Take the Nambour Connection Road: Follow signs to Mapleton via the Nambour Connection Road.
  3. Turn onto Mapleton Road: Continue on Mapleton Road through the town of Mapleton.
  4. Turn Right onto Delicia Road: Just after Mapleton Falls Road, turn right onto Delicia Road.
  5. Continue to Mapleton Forest Road: Follow Delicia Road until it becomes Mapleton Forest Road, a dirt road accessible by 2WD vehicles.

From Noosa Heads:

  1. Head South: Take the Sunshine Motorway (Route 70) south towards the Sunshine Coast.
  2. Merge onto Bruce Highway (M1): Head south on the M1 towards Nambour.
  3. Exit at Nambour Connection Road: Follow signs to Mapleton via the Nambour Connection Road.
  4. Turn onto Mapleton Road: Continue on Mapleton Road through the town of Mapleton.
  5. Turn Right onto Delicia Road: Just after Mapleton Falls Road, turn right onto Delicia Road.

  2. Catch a Bus to Nambour Train Station:
    •  Route 610; Route 612; Route 630; Route 631; Route 636; Route 637; Route 638; Route 649
  3. Transfer to Route 890:
    • From Nambour Train Station, transfer to Translink Bus Route 890.
    • Route 890 travels from Nambour Train Station to various stops in the region, including Mapleton.
  4. Disembark at Stop ID 830071 (Tamarin Drive at Mapleton Forest Rd, Mapleton):
    • Ask the driver to notify you when approaching Stop ID 830071. This stop is the closest to Mapleton National Park’s day-use area.
