Perfect for a Day Trip or Weekend Getaway – Explore Sunshine Coast MTB Trails on Electric Mountain Bikes!

ecoTekkSC is here to help you create an unforgettable mountain biking experience in our sub-tropical backyard. Our region offers a true bush-to-beach exploit, with heavenly routes that allow you to find your flow in the morning and unwind with your toes in the warm sand in the afternoon.

The Sunshine Coast’s network of trails offers a wide range of riding to suit all levels of skill and adventure. You can challenge yourself on rooty, technical terrain surrounded by lush rainforests and the calls of black cockatoos, kookaburras, and whip birds. Or, you can cruise around our beautiful green, beginner trails amidst dense ferny groves and towering gums.

We have five top picks when it comes to mountain bike parks and forest trails, all within easy reach from the beach and major towns. From clean and easy “green” beginner paths like Ferny Forest to steep drops, gap jumps, and rock gardens that will require maximum focus, our local tracks offer it all. If you love wooden features and ramps, head to Sugar Bag Road. Or, if fun flow trails, tight turns, and ripping berms are more your style, check out Tewantin National Park, just on Noosa’s doorstep. For those who want to feel lost in nature, Parklands Conservation Park is the perfect destination. And for those who prefer to keep the rubber side up, you can pack a picnic and adventure on an open fire trail high above the beach at Mapleton National Park in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

The Ride On map is available for download to help guide you on your mountain biking bash. The Sunshine Coast has a keen and friendly local bike community, and you may find yourself engaging in cheeky trailhead bike banter while you pump up your tyres, lube your chain, clip up your helmet, and prepare to launch into an epic all-terrain adventure.

At ecoTekkSC, we are committed to providing you with a sustainable and environmentally friendly experience, so you can enjoy our breathtaking trails with the knowledge that you are supporting responsible business practices. We look forward to welcoming you to our sub-tropical paradise for an unforgettable MTB trek.

About Our e-MTBs — Your Sunshine Coast Trail Adventure Begins Here

There’s a moment on every trail when the world goes still — when the only sound is your breath, the tyres on the earth, and the realisation that this ride is taking you somewhere new.
Our electric mountain bikes are designed for those moments.

Purpose-built for Queensland’s forest trails, gravel roads and rail trail journeys, our fleet of hardtail e-MTBs strikes the perfect balance between comfort, capability and simplicity. They’re ideal for easy and intermediate terrain — the kind of trails that invite you to explore further without the pressure of technical riding.

Hardtail e-MTBs for Rail Trails & Multi-Day Adventures

Our hardtail design gives you stability on uneven surfaces and the practicality to carry gear for multi-day rides. Whether you’re heading out on the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, planning a weekend crossing of the Kilkivan–Kingaroy Rail Trail, or exploring Sunshine Coast’s hinterland gravel, these e-MTBs make the journey feel effortless and achievable.

Each bike includes:

  • Powerful mid-drive or hub-drive motors for smooth climbing

  • Long-range batteries, with optional second battery hire

  • Hardtail frames designed for comfort, control and gear carrying

  • Trail saddles, wide-grip tyres and stable geometry

  • Mobile phone holders for trail navigation

  • Mirrors available on request

Perfect for riders seeking electric mountain bike hire Sunshine Coast, e-bike hire Noosa, e-bike hire Mooloola, and longer rail trail e-MTB adventures.

Explore the Sunshine Coast’s Easy & Intermediate Trails

Our hardtail e-MTBs are ideal for the region’s flowing, scenic and non-technical terrain, including:

  • Sugar Bag Road MTB Park (beginner loops)

  • Parklands Conservation Park (selected easier trails)

  • Ferny Forest MTB Loop
